A Space for Fathers
This monthly gathering for fathers is not a group about parenting techniques or advice.
Fatherhood is the doorway that brings us together—our shared ground.
Together, we make space for nature-based practices, simple activities, quiet reflection, real conversation, and a deeper sense of belonging with the living world.
What We Need More Of
We hear the quiet need for a different kind of space for fathers—one that doesn't ask for performance or answers. A space that welcomes a gentler orientation: making room to step away from the relentless pace of everyday life, to spend time on the land alongside other fathers, and to discover a different rhythm of being together.

space
A chance to step away from the pace and pressures of everyday life. Time where nothing is required of you, and there is room to simply breathe, notice, and be.

Community
In a culture where many men carry things alone, these gatherings offer a place of warmth, honesty, and belonging—where conversation can unfold without judgment, performance, or the need to have answers.

Belonging
Time on the land reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves. These gatherings offer space to cultivate that connection, and to explore what a deeper belonging with the wider web of life means for how we live, parent, and participate in the world.
"Perhaps one of the things fathers need most is time on the land, with nothing to achieve and nowhere else to be."

what we get up to!

Arrive
We begin with grounding and a group check-in, giving everyone time to arrive, settle, and connect with one another.

Nature Connection
Along the way we may weave in breathwork, seasonal reflections, myths, embodied practices, and conversation inspired by our time on the land.

Share & Reflect
Conversation, stories, insights, and listening-Close the session with check out and gratitude practice.

So why come?

Jason Leck
As co-founder and co-director of Becoming Earth C.I.C., and as an ecotherapist and nature-based facilitator, fatherhood invites me to question many of the messages we inherit about success, achievement and what it means to be a "good man".
For me, becoming a father isn't something I've achieved—it's something I'm continually growing into.
Through my own journey, ecopsychology training and inner work, I've come to deeply value the richness that can emerge when people spend time together on the land. The conversations, connections and sense of aliveness that arise when we slow down and make space for what really matters.

Simon Martin
As a nature-based facilitator and ecotherapist, I work with individuals and groups in a range of settings, including leadership and organisational development. Across all of this, I see a common thread: authentic relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the wider web of life. Through these connections, wellbeing and personal growth can flourish. I'm particularly drawn to conversations about fathering, exploring the patterns that shape our lives and relationships. Together, we can reflect on how these patterns may influence us individually and collectively, within our families, in our relationships with daughters and sons, and through the stories and experiences passed between generations.
